Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County

In November 2004, the Board of Directors of the Waukesha County Community Foundation established the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County. Distributions from the Fund will be directed toward support of programs and projects that benefit women and girls in Waukesha County.

Women of all ages, in more than 7,000 congregational and special units in the United States and the Caribbean, carry out the mission of Women of the ELCA: mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.

Atlanta Women's Foundation

The Atlanta Women's Foundation is Georgia's only public foundation focused exclusively on the issues of women and girls. We serve five counties in the metropolitan Atlanta area and our donors, and grantee partners come from all walks of life and from all communities. We represent divergent views and experiences, but we all share one important belief: together, we can increase self-sufficiency among women and girls and accomplish positive social change.

Channel Foundation

The Channel Foundation is a small, private foundation based in Seattle, Washington, USA that promotes leadership in women's human rights around the globe.

Delta Research and Education Foundation

The Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) is the premier national and global research and educational organization supporting the socio-economic empowerment of African-American women and their families.

DREF was established by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation. A major component and program of DREF, The Center for Research for African  American Women serves as a comprehensive database and resource on Africa-American Women and honors their roles and contributions in building the United States.

The Annie E. Casey Foundation (Associate Member)

Since 1948, the Annie E. Casey Foundation has worked to build better futures for disadvantaged children and their families in the United States. The primary mission of the Foundation is to foster public policies, human service reforms, and community supports that more effectively meet the needs of today's vulnerable children and families.

The African-American Women's Fund of the 21st Century Foundation

The African-American Women’s Fund (AAWF) is a progressive, national, philanthropic initiative launched to support organizations and individuals working for the education and empowerment of women of the African Diaspora. Organized as a Field of Interest Fund, AAWF is a forward-thinking approach for mobilizing the untapped resources of the Black community to support Black women’s initiatives.

AARP Foundation (Associate Member)

The AARP Foundation is AARP’s affiliated charity. We offer direct community services, education programs and information that provide security, protection and empowerment as people age.

 

Levi Strauss Foundation (Associate Member)

Consistent with the heritage and values of the company, the grant-making programs of Levi Strauss & Co. and the Levi Strauss Foundation seek to alleviate poverty on behalf of women and youth in communities around the world where our employees and our contractors' employees live and work.

Women & Public Policy Program (Associate Member)

The Women and Public Policy Program of Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government was founded with the internal goal of incorporating an understanding of gender perspectives on public policy into the education of future and current leaders trained at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, and the external goal of contributing to the canon of scholarship on women and public policy.
