HER Fund promotes and defends the rights of women and girls in Hong Kong in all aspects of life and work through fund-raising, grantmaking and stimulating a culture of giving for social change.

Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County

In November 2004, the Board of Directors of the Waukesha County Community Foundation established the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County. Distributions from the Fund will be directed toward support of programs and projects that benefit women and girls in Waukesha County.

World Young Women’s Christian Association: International AIDS Conference

The world's attention is shifting to Mexico City where the next International AIDS Conference (IAC) is scheduled to take place from August 3-8, 2008. Mexico City will be the first Latin American country to host a conference of this size; over 21,000 people attended the AIDS 2006 conference in Toronto.

Held every 2 years, the conference provides many opportunities for the presentation of important new scientific research and productive, structured dialogue on the major challenges facing the global response to HIV and AIDS.

Chester County Fund Raises $3.5 Million During Campaign for Change

With gifts from five dollars to $1 million, the Fund is pleased to announce that it surpassed its $3-million goal and raised $3.5 million to support women and girls’ causes throughout Chester County.

With gifts from five dollars to $1 million, the Fund is pleased to announce that it surpassed its $3-million goal and raised $3.5 million to support women and girls’ causes throughout Chester County. Funds raised will be evenly distributed to the Fund’s three endowments for grants, operations and girls’ programs. The Fund reached an historic milestone this year with the campaign, becoming the first women’s fund in the country with an endowment specifically for girls programs.
