Mark your Calendars! The Women’s Funding Network Annual Conference will be held from April 30 to May 2, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This year’s theme is Investing in Women – Worldwide Return. Be sure to take advantage of the early-bird prices when registration begins.
This years Conference will take place at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis at 265 Peachtree Center Avenue. Some of the Atlanta attractions in the area include the Carter Presidential Library and Museum, Historic Underground Atlanta, the Martin Luther King Jr. Center, the Atlanta History Center, and the Margaret Mitchell House. Thank You to Semillas for Hosting Our Board Meeting
On October 28th and 29th Semillas hosted the Women’s Funding Network board of directors meeting at their office in Mexico City. The board meeting convened 23 women from around the world and was a huge success. It could not have gone so well without the support of the entire Semillas staff. Thank you again for hosting us!
Pray the Devil Back to Hell – Screening in LA
Join the Women’s Foundation of California and the Women’s Funding Network with Women Moving Millions for a special evening with Abigail Disney. The evening will include the Los Angeles screening of Disney’s celebrated film, "Pray the Devil Back to Hell," as well as an intimate conversation with leaders of the women’s funding movement.

January donor retreat at Abiquiu
January 23-26, 2009 – Abiquiu, New Mexico – Donor Retreat
Due to the popularity of the donor retreat in September, we are thrilled to offer a second weekend retreat this January. Hosted by Helen LaKelly Hunt and Chris Grumm with the Women’s Funding Network, we encourage you to include your top donors and prospective donors in this special weekend. In this intimate and comfortable setting, donors will explore their experiences and approaches to philanthropy at Helen’s hacienda in New Mexico. The current state of the global economy presents unique challenges – this retreat offers thoughtful, innovative strategies that enable donors to leverage and sharpen their giving.
